Arith safeguards your privacy. We collect and use personal data to offer relevant information, marketing, and improved services securely.
1.0 General
1.1 This privacy policy (the ”Policy”) applies when you submit information to Arith AB, reg. no. 559428-6246, Nybrogatan 8, 114 34 Stockholm, Sweden, e-mail: info@arith.se (”Arith”), via the contact forms at Arith’s websites, Arith’s social media accounts and similar third-party services (the ”Forms”) or where you have otherwise reached out to Arith for business purposes, as well as where Arith has collected information about you via social media accounts, other public sources or by us both having attended an event, meeting or had a similar interaction for B2B purposes.
2.0 Which data does Arith process about you?
2.1 Arith collects and processes your personal data when you submit information in Forms, such as name, e-mail address, and other information that you may provide by such Forms. Arith also collects information through social media, public searches, event and other meeting attendance, and own or third-party cookies and other follow-up tools; see section 7.
2.2 Your personal data is kept by Arith only for such time periods as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected. However, Arith may retain the personal data for a more extended period of time if required by law or if needed to protect Arith's legal interests, e.g., in the event of an ongoing legal proceeding. In such cases, the personal data is only kept to fulfill such legal obligations and protect Arith's legal interests, which are legitimate interests of Arith.
3.0 Why does Arith process your personal data?
3.1 Arith processes your personal data for several purposes. The main purpose of Arith’s processing of personal data concerns providing the information you have requested when filling out the relevant Form to fulfill the task you asked for, such fulfillment being the legal basis for the activity. Arith may also use your e-mail address, where provided, for the purpose of direct marketing efforts in respect of Arith’s products and services, the basis being Arith’s legitimate interest in promoting its business operations. The data may also serve as material for marketing and customer analyses, market research, statistics, follow-up of business operations, and business and methods development, which is carried out based on Arith’s legitimate interest in following up and analyzing its commercial contact persons.
3.2 Arith also processes your personal data to improve and customize personal offers and service provision. Personal data and positioning data may, e.g., be processed and cross-checked, segmented, and analyzed to enable Arith to, via direct marketing efforts, provide information, offers, recommendations, or updates on products and services provided by Arith. These activities are carried out based on Arith’s legitimate interest in providing relevant information and offer to its commercial contact persons.
3.3 If you do not want Arith to process your personal data for direct marketing, you may notify Arith thereof in writing via the contact details provided in section 8 below or by using the “unsubscribe” function part of each direct marketing e-mail received, allowing you to manage your communication preferences.
4.0 Third Parties
4.1 Arith may provide or otherwise make available information relating to you to Arith’s collaboration partners and companies that process personal data on behalf of Arith, i.e., data processors of Arith, such as our IT suppliers or suppliers engaged by Arith for Arith’s marketing efforts. However, Arith will always be responsible for correctly processing your personal data. These activities are carried out based on Arith’s legitimate interest in providing relevant information and offer to its commercial contact persons.
4.2 Arith may also disclose personal data, if required under applicable law or a competent authority's decision, to fulfill legal obligations. Further, personal data may be processed to protect Arith's legal interests or to detect, prevent or observe fraudulent behaviors and other security or technical issues, which constitute legitimate interests for Arith for performing the processing.
4.3 Your personal data may be transferred to or stored in countries outside of the EU/EEA, provided that there is an adequate level of protection or that Arith and its data processors have implemented appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or the Privacy Shield Framework, please see https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/law-topic/data-protection_en.
5.0 Changes to the Policy
5.1 Arith has the right to, at any time, change this Policy. Arith shall notify upcoming changes to the Policy via its website with reasonable advance notice. If you do not accept the changed terms, you have the right to notify Arith that you are not permitting any further processing of your personal data prior to the changed Policy entering into force. We are allowed to change the policy terms but must inform you well in advance.
6.0 Data security
6.1 We aim to ensure that you at all times remain confident in trusting Arith with your personal data. In this respect, Arith has implemented such security measures necessary to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, modification, and deletion. Processing of personal data is a responsibility of great importance to us.
7.0 Cookies
7.1 The services provided via Arith's websites use cookies and other techniques (hereinafter" cookies") in order to function properly. Cookies are used for Arith to keep statistics of the number of visits and to enable enhancements to the user experience. If you do not agree to the use of cookies, you may configure your web browser not to accept cookies. If you choose to set your web browser not to accept cookies, Arith can, however, unfortunately, not guarantee that the websites will function properly. We use cookies to provide the best user experience possible.
8.0 Your rights and contact details etc.
8.1 Arith is the data controller and is responsible for the processing of your personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.
8.2 You are entitled to, in accordance with applicable law, request access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning you and to object to the processing as well as to data portability. You are entitled to request this free of charge. In case of requests manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly because of their repetitive character, Arith is entitled to charge an administrative fee – in such cases, you will be notified beforehand.
